Museum of Natural Curiosity

While in Utah we went to the new Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point with the boys and some of their cousins.

 

 

These net bridges are high above the ground.  There are several of them, separated by a platform in between each one.  Once you start, you can't turn back...one way traffic.  Probably not recommended for those afraid of heights.

 

 

The boys did really well.  Luke is afraid of heights, but this didn't bother him because the "walls were high enough."

Ryland loved it.  While other kids were crying about the scariness of the nets and the height, Ryland cried every time we ended up on a platform, slowed down, or stopped.  He was having so much fun and wanted to keep moving forward.

Outside was "Noah's Ark" surrounded by water.  I had the kids wear their swimming suits this day because I had heard there was a splash pad outside the museum.  Everyone except for Ryland, that is, since at this point in the summer splash pads weren't really his thing.  When I got outside and discovered this was the "splash pad" I realized my mistake...this is RyPie's kind of water.

 

He ended up completely soaked of course...with a very large and soggy diaper.
