We took a different route this summer on our trip to Utah. We passed through South Dakota and were able to see Mount Rushmore. This drive added a little extra time, but it was a much prettier drive (at least until we hit Wyoming!).
Porter refused to be a part of our family picture. Again. Long drives are hard.
During our drive we were privileged enough to see the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile and the Nutmobile (at the same time!). Since David works for Kraft (currently with the Oscar Mayer Business Unit), and hired the Hottdoggers and Peanutters driving the vehicles, it was even more fun to see than normal. The boys thought it was so cool.
