Ryland is a year old.
12 Months.
ONE.
How can this be? I am not yet ready to say we don't have a baby anymore.
So I am not going to.
The Stats
Height: 28.75 in. (13th Percentile)
Weight: 19 lb. 15 oz. (29th Percentile)
He has started sleeping with a blanket. Not sure if he cares about it or not.
Has 8 teeth.
Is liking table food more and more...which is good since that is what he is getting these days.
The food he doesn't like he shoves down the sides of his high chair, where I find lots of little treats.
The only bread he likes is the kind that comes fresh out of our oven.
Takes 2 naps a day.
Sleeps 12-13 hours at night.
Loves attention.
Hates to have his diaper changed.
(And I am right there with him since this baby poops ALL DAY LONG!).
Is wearing #4 diapers during the day and #5 at night.
Loves to be held.
Had his first ear infection. :(
Loves interacting with his brothers.
Is cruising around furniture. Although, "slowly creeping" may be a better term.
Is nowhere near close to walking...but we are used to that at our house.
Has said his first word. When he sees his dad he says, "Da, da."

Clothes and laundry baskets are so fun.

As soon as one child stops rifling through the garbage, another one begins.
His brothers seem to think he is ready for school.
He has also taken over Porter's love for pulling books off the shelves.
Love sleeping baby pics...especially those with the bum in the air.
Or hands tucked underneath them.
First Birthday!
He was not sure what to do with the gifts.
But he had lots of helpers.
