11 Months

Ryland is 11 Months.
Sure wish our Ry Guy would stop growing up.

 

Likes having his teeth brushed (unless he is teething).

Makes clucking noises with his tongue.
Had his 7th tooth pop through.
Has no interest in crawling on all fours and it looks as if he will skip this step all together.
His army crawl is fast and gets him where he wants to go.
Always has blisters (in various stages of healing) on the bottom of his big toes from pushing off the floor when he crawls.
Can pull himself to a stand.  Once he is standing he always turns around to look for anyone who will give him praise for this feat.
Can climb up the stairs, but is not interested in learning how to go down them.
Loves to rip apart paper and books.
His favorite place in the house is the basement with all the toys.  He can hardly contain his excitement when he knows we are headed down the stairs.
Is starting to eat some table food, but is not sure how he feels about it.
Loves to get into the kitchen cupboards.

The only thing he wants in the morning is a bottle.  He is frantic to get it, but once he has it, he will then acknowledge me with a little wave.  Melts my heart every time.

The basement!

This is the look he often gives to strangers.

Stopping play time to give me a wave.

 

Loves the feel and noise of any kind of plastic.

 

Enjoys wagon rides.

 

 

"Mater", the ride-on-toy, has been around for a long time.

For good reason.  These little ones can't get enough of him.

 

 

Standing!
