We took the bigger kids, ages 4 and up (if you can even call that "bigger"), and went tubing down the Portneuf River.
Luke hated it. His new found confidence with water did not extend as far as tubing. Caden loved it. My favorite quote from Caden during the experience was, "This is so fun I can hardly believe it!"
The littles were back at the house with Grandma and Grandpa.

And you can't go to Lava Hot Springs and not experience the "Lava Hot Springs." These mineral pools were wonderful! There were several pools ranging in natural temperature from 102-112 degrees. The pools at the back of this picture are the hottest and each pool gets cooler as you move further away from the back. We went on an evening that was a littler cooler and breezy, which made the pools quite enticing.
Porter could barely handle the temperature of the "coolest" pool.
I thought it was lovely.
