Lava Hot Springs - At the House

One week after moving to Wisconsin, my family gathered in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho for a family reunion.  Our house was only partially unpacked (bummer) when we jumped in the van and drove out to Utah, where we spent a couple of days before heading to Idaho.

We had such a good time.  It was so good to see family and for the boys to see their cousins.

I loved the house we all stayed at together (Lava Family Inn).  There was lots of room inside for us all to fit and lots of room outside for everyone to play.  The kids loved having races together.

A little soccer between Sammie and Porter.

Lots of swinging.

A few of the cousins.

Claire, Sammie, Caden, Mia and Porter

There are no cousins Porter's age, but he did his best to weasel his way in.  He especially liked the girls and gave them lots and lots of hugs.

This is Claire.  She didn't really take to all of Porter's hugging.  I had not seen Claire in 2 years (she is now 4) and I found myself loving this little whip of a thing.  At one point while watching TV, Porter saddled up next to her (he has no concept of personal space), much to her chagrin.  She told him to move and when her dad (my brother) asked her why, she said, "Because he is a hugger."  Love her!

Ironically, she gave Luke lots of hugs, very tight and squeezy hugs.  He was such a good sport about all the affection.

She liked holding Ryland as well.  She now has a baby brother of her own (born since the reunion) to love on.

 Morning cousins.

Loved that we had time to read.  I haven't done that in ages.

Playing a game on an iPad.

Mia became my little shadow as she loved to take care of Ryland.  She was such a good little helper.
How can I get me one of these!?!
