9 Months

Ryland is now 9 months old.

This past month flew by!

9 Month Stats:

Weight:  16 lbs. 10 oz. (8th percentile)
Height:  26.5 in. (3rd Percentile)

His stats may be on the low end, but he doesn't seem lacking in the chubs factor to me.

His army crawl has become quite fast.
Is getting up on all fours more and more, but has yet to crawl that way (which is fine by me!).

Puts everything he sees into his mouth.  That pincer grasp is good enough to pick up the tiniest crumb (or grass or rocks).  Ugh.

His teething efforts during the past couple of months finally produced 3 more teeth, with one more to follow any day.
Is loving finger foods.

Got a haircut.  No more baby mullet.
His hair color is officially blonde.  The dark hair he was born with has ever so slowly fallen out, while being simultaneously replaced with the blonde stuff.
Is free with his smiles, but is not the least bit bashful about letting us know when he is not happy.
Is the first of our babies to like being rocked...unless it is one of the days when he doesn't. :)

He's got his eye on something.  And he will go after it.

 

It is rare these days that I catch him sucking his thumb during the day.  He must have been lulled by the stroller ride.

Finger food.  Yum.

 

Getting a hair cut.
