Kansas City, MO - Part 2

The second half of our Saturday in Kansas City was spent at FanFest (at the convention center).  It is the pre-fun to the Major League All-Star Game.

Here are the boys watching some little kids sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" as they stand in the middle of a very real looking baseball field.  There were quite a few good little singers.

The boys got to participate in all things baseball...including sliding into home base.  Even David got in on the fun.

All tuckered out and ready to head back to the hotel.

These tired boys slept quite well that night...I think they were out as soon as their heads hit their pillows.

We planned on catching the first hour of church on Sunday before heading back home, but we all over-slept!  Instead we drove to the temple for a last look see and then headed back to Arkansas.

Our little travelers were great on the drive home.

It was so good to get away for a bit.  We sure needed some family time.  It was definitely much too short.
