Sprinklers!

It is so hot here that sprinklers are a great way to cool down.

The boys love it.

And it waters the grass.

(We have had no rain and it has been difficult keeping the lawn watered...as you can tell.  We don't have a sprinkler system and have been watering by hand, but we just can't keep up with the heat and lack of rain!).

Porter wasn't so sure about this sprinkler thing.  He watched from afar for a good while.  Then the older boys tricked him into coming close by putting a ball over the sprinkler...and then surprised him by taking it off.

Luke and Caden loved playing this game with him.

And Porter kept coming back for more.

And more.

Still loving it.

After David sprayed all the grass off the boys with the hose, he thought this was fun.

So did Caden, but everyone else quickly dispersed.
