Boys and Cars

Since we don't have wood floors in our family room anymore (as we did in Chicago), the boys have taken the plasma cars outside to the drive.

They love it...possibly even more than riding them inside.

Racing up the driveway.

A little bumper car action.

Mater to the rescue.

The boys took turns having their cars "break down".

(It's pouring rain by this time, but these boys cared not...all the other neighbor children had long since gone inside).

This is my favorite picture.  Luke told Caden he was "stuck" in the grass.  Luke, of course, was pretending, but Caden (who doesn't quite get the pretending thing yet) took him literally.  He said, "I help, Luke," and rushed to push his brother out of the grass.

Who knew how much use these cars would receive...by children and adults alike. 

By far, our best toy purchase.
