Happy Anniversary!!
I am so grateful for such a wonderful man in my life. Thank you, David, for being patient, loving, kind, forgiving, understanding, and always being there for me. You are my strength, my anchor, and my safe place.
I LOVE YOU!!
Here is a quick run-down of the past
6 years
of our marriage.
We have lived in 3 States - Utah, Colorado, & Illinois
(with more moves to come...and probably sooner than later)
We have rented 3 "homes" - an apartment, a townhouse, & a condo.
(We hope to actually own our own home someday)
We added 3 kiddos to our lives!!!
(We love BOYS!)
We have been in 4 different Wards.
Between the two of us, we have held 10 callings in church.
David has held 4 different positions with Kraft.
(Sales Rep., Regional Training Manager, HR Manager - National Retail Sales,
HR Manager - Growth Channels)
Heather has had 3 jobs.
(RN at PCMC, School Nurse, and the 24/7 job of MOM!)
We have had 4 queen beds. The fourth, although costly,
has finally done the trick for David's back problems.
(Hallelujah!!)
We have had 5 cars:
A Taurus (company car), a Sebring (company car),
a Civic (traded-in),
a Camry (still own it),
& the newest addition,
a Honda Odyssey (needed to haul our crew).
We have taken some fun vacations to the San Juan Islands (twice);
Hawaii; Washington; & Victoria, B.C.
(all while childless)
Since children entered the picture we have only ventured as far as
Utah (to visit family) and Wisconsin.
(We look forward to fun-filled vacations in the future with our children.
And some without them!!)
We have never owned a Pet!
(but never say never)

ReplyDeleteI was wondering what you were doing about transportation these days....I'm starting to look at {YIKES!} a minivan with just two kids. How do you like your Odyssey?

ReplyDeleteAnd your newest addition, Porter, is sooo sweet. Can you believe you have 3 kids now?? Sometimes I stop and think, wow. That's crazy! (about my self.) Hope you are able to get the rest you need during this early baby phase. I know it's hard. Looking forward to it, and NOT looking forward to it, myself in a few months!
Happy Anniversary... a little late! Wish we lived closer so we could watch the boys while you guys went out. One day right? I learned more about you guys from the post than I did from Joe. Gotta love blogs!
