We celebrated 2 birthdays in August. Porter was first up.
He is FOUR years old!
The Stats
Height: 41 in. (64th percentile)
Weight: 35 lbs. (42nd percentile)
This boy seems older than 4 to me. It's not that he acts older than 4 (one can only wish), but it sure feels like he has been part of our family for much longer.
He loves to talk...especially in the car.
He is full of energy from the moment he wakes up.
Amazingly, he still takes a glorious 1.5-2 hour nap most days.
He loves to push his brother's buttons. Parents are not excluded.
His primary teacher has told me how much she loves him in her class and how well-behaved he is. This was surprising to hear as this boy can be such a stinker at home sometimes. It was comforting to know that he can behave well for others!
He loves to be outside playing with neighbors and riding bikes.
He does not like washing his hands.
He was super excited to start preschool 2 days a week in September. He is loving it. He feels he has waited FOREVER.
When he grows up he wants to be a doctor and a super hero.
We are lucky to have this boy as part of our crew!

At the doctor for his yearly check-up.
He loves it! I think it has something to do with all the attention he gets. He didn't even care that he was getting shots at this visit.

He got a doctor's kit (complete with scrubs) for his birthday. He was disappointed to discover that the blood pressure cuff didn't actually work. :(
The roller skates were a bit tricky at first, but he is figuring it out.
