3 Months

Another month has come and gone.

 

Little Ry Ry is now 3 months old.

 

 Ryland is now sleeping well!  He is only waking once during a 12-13 hour night.  Wahoo!
We are so grateful that we, too, are getting more sleep.
He is starting to nap better as well.
He has been frantic to find his thumb and figured it out at 10.5 weeks.  He will suck his right or his left thumb, whichever is most convenient at the moment.
He is sleeping with his arms out of the wrap.  He needs those thumbs!
With quick access to his thumbs, he no longer uses a binki at night or for naps, but will still use it occasionally during the day.
All the 0-3 month clothes are boxed up.
Is wearing #2 diapers.
Likes blowing bubbles.
Hates being on his belly.
Has just started to laugh.
Loves to cuddle.

I took a video yesterday of this sweet boy.
This was right before a nap and he was sleepy happy (instead of sleepy cranky, which is more the norm just before a nap).

Sorry for the weird angle...I was holding Ryland while holding the camera up above and couldn't see what was being recorded.

 

 

In the quest to find his thumb during his first 10 weeks of life, he often settled for his fingers.

 



10 Weeks

 

 

Ahh...the thumb.

Two of our boys have sucked their thumb, but only at night or during naps.  This little guy seems inclined to use those thumbs a little more often.

 

Here is the right thumb.

So loved by his brothers.
I imagine this baby is going to grow up to be tough after being mauled so much by his siblings.
