We headed to Tanyard Creek on our fourth day with family in town.
We had never been there and it ended up being a favorite of mine.
The trail to get there was an easy one...just what our kids need at this age.
I love these photos of Caden. I don't know where he got the hands behind the back thing, but he's done it ever since he could walk. It was pretty funny to see him doing it on the walk to the creek. It really shows his personality.
Not sure this one is going to be a hiker with his leisurely style.
Made it to the creek.
We had to cross the creek to get to the side where the kids could play. Our cautious Luke surprised me by not only being willing to, but by not wanting much help stabilizing himself on the rocks to get there. Once across, the boys loved playing in the water and were sad when it was time to leave. I think this outing may have been their favorite too.
Porter was not excited about the water.
He cried as soon as his feet touched down.
Being held was much better.
