Since I am way behind on posting...here are a bunch of photos from March.
We have had some wonderfully warm and beautiful days and some really cold days this month.
Here are the boys on one of those nice days, eating their snack outside. Our boys are milk and water kind of kids, so when dad brought home a box full of CapriSun from work (Kraft product, of course), these boys dug in...I couldn't even get a picture of them without the straws.
Another nice day at snack time.
This is Luke's new "picture" smile. Who knows what Caden is doing...maybe saying, "cheese"???
Blowing bubbles.
Again, what is Caden doing? Just blowing out air through his teeth...he can't seem to figure out why that just doesn't produce many bubbles.
Nice day = Park day.
Here is Porter in a swing for the first time.
He sure seemed to like it.
Luke on a slide.
Good brother, Luke, waiting for Caden at the bottom of the slide.
Sweet baby Porter (and dad).
Loving the swing.
Loving the height.
David even got in on the park action.
(I love the burp rag in the back pocket...we never leave home without it!)
I am always a sucker for sleeping baby pictures. Especially the kind with the bottom up in the air and the thumb in the mouth.
Here's Luke watching his dad mow the lawn...from a safe distance. We taught Luke about mower safety (as this is our first mower), and being the cautious kid that he is (understatement of the year) he chose to sit in the garage on one of the car seats to watch.
Such a cute kid.
Really bad haircut.
Where's your sister-in-law (AKA...someone who would NEVER do this to your kids hair sort of hair stylist) when you need her? Oh, yeah...in Utah...just 1300 miles away!
We usually cut Luke's hair ourselves because this is what happens when we take him somewhere. I know we should probably not bring him to places like "Great Clips", but really...aren't they trained to cut hair too? It's an easy enough fix...we just get out the clippers and away you go, but still, we took him to get his haircut so we didn't have to break out the clippers ourselves...sometimes you just want someone else to do it.
So, I guess we either do it ourselves or pay the extra $$ for a real stylist.
Sick kids at our house.
There are some nasty bugs going around and our family didn't escape it.
Luke was the most miserable...he spent a feverish (101-103) five days on the couch with pillow and blanket. This was his last full-day on the couch and was looking and feeling so much better.
