This kid loves preschool. He can't get enough of it.
Unfortunately, he has been plagued by sickness since the year began and has missed nearly half of the school days. One of his teachers gave him a big cheer last week as he had been to school for three days in a row.
He has had fluid in his ears for the past few months and an ear infection for the past several weeks.
He is just finishing up his third round of antibiotics and still the ear infection/fluid persists.
After developing an allergy to one of the antibiotics (we don't know which one as they were given so close together) his pediatrician referred us to an ENT doctor.
Ear tubes were recommended as the fluid/ear infection is not resolving and his hearing is being affected.
So, come next week, we are hoping and praying for a smooth surgery, no more fluid, the resolving of this stubborn infection, and a boy who can hear again!

Bummer about the ear tubes. But I love the new family pictures! We sure are going to miss you! Lauren saw Luke's picture the other day and asked if we could go see Luke. I assume your schedule is pretty busy?
