60's and the kids were excited to finally get outside
after a LONG winter of being couped up.
Caden, who has not been walking long (less than two
months) and had never walked outside was a little
wary of the cracks in the sidewalk. Luke is trying
to gently coax him to move forward.

After testing several cracks with the tip of his shoe,
he deemed the sidewalk to be a safe walking surface.

Upon hearing we were headed outside, Luke
immediately asked for bubbles. I guess we blew
bubbles A LOT last Summer and Luke doesn't
forget anything.

Blowing bubbles.

The bubble maker sure makes it easier with just the
press of a button.

Caden tried to blow his own bubbles, but only ended up
making spit.

I think he was just happy to be outside.

The three days of moderate weather were followed
by snow and freezing temperatures! I guess you just
can't have it all. Luke didn't seem to mind. When
he woke up to fresh snow he begged and begged
to go sledding. He was not thrilled with his first
sledding experience, just before Christmas, as David
took him down a very large hill...and that was just
too much for our cautious Luke. David quickly
followed up with a "good" sledding experience by
taking him to a small hill just behind our condo.
Thankfully, he loved it! With the fresh snow, he
was begging to do it again.
Luke is not so great when it comes to smiling for
the camera, but he was so excited to go sledding
that he just couldn't help himself.

Caden just grew up over night! And some of his expressions look like Sam's!
