Luke turned 3 years old this past weekend. We took a
short trip (two days and one night) to Wisconsin to
celebrate. Here he is in our hotel room in Milwaukee
opening his gifts.

Surprisingly, he loved his number 3 that was stuck in
an apple. We didn't bring any celebratory ice cream and
had to resort to using an apple from breakfast. He
didn't seem to mind.

Opening up the Plasma Car.

Sitting on the Plasma Car. We didn't realize beforehand
that it needed to be put together (and therefore didn't
bring the necessary tools) so he didn't get to actually
use it until later. Still, he was content to just sit on it.

Here he is once it was put together.

Luke, waiting to get on the boat tour in Lake Geneva,
Wisconsin.

Dad and Luke riding on the boat. He loved pointing
out EVERYTHING he saw as we took the tour!

Mom and the boys in front of the Art Museum in
Milwaukee, where we ate lunch.

We took Luke to the Betty Brinn Children's museum in
Milwaukee. Here he is loading up his cart at the
"grocery store."

And helping dad to change a tire.
He seemed to enjoy his birthday trip and we enjoyed
getting out as well!
He is so cute! Can you believe we have kids!
