7 Months

Ryland is 7 months.  More than half-way to a year old.  Ahhhh!

 

 

Takes his socks off during naps. They can be found in his hand up by his face as he sucks his thumb.  I don't allow blankets in the bed until my babes are at least a year old (yes, I am paranoid!).  Until then, the socks will have to suffice for his lovey.

If I am holding him while he is tired, he loves to grab my hair and use that as his lovey while he sucks his thumb on my shoulder.

Is down to 2 set naps a day.
 

Is up to #4 diapers.

Loves skin to skin contact.  When David or I touch our faces to his face, he presses his cheek firmly against ours.

Is now eating several vegetables and fruit.  He makes an "mmm" noise when eating fruit.  No such sound for the veggies.

You would think he hates food by all the crying and whining during mealtimes, but he just wants the spoon in his mouth without all the pauses in between.

Doesn't mind his nose being sucked out by a bulb syringe, but hates to have his nose wiped with a tissue.

Loves to be thrown up in the air.

If he is ever crying and doesn't want to be consoled, all we have to do is walk outside with him and the waterworks instantly come to a halt.

Crying or not, if we say, "Do you want to go outside?" he kicks his legs in excitement.

Is sitting up.

With all the drool of late (not to mention the crankiness), he is probably working on getting more teeth.

These teeth popped up a month and a half ago, but don't seem to be in any hurry to move up quickly.
