Luke was thrilled to be able to wear his costume to preschool last week for his Halloween party. He wanted to wear it all day and ended up doing just that...he finally removed it when it was time to put on pajamas.
Here he is in front of his cubby...doing something dragonish!
Luke's teacher and class all lined up as they headed up the "parade" through the preschool halls. They got to show off their costumes to their parents and other preschoolers.
Caden was so sad he didn't get to wear his costume to Luke's preschool, but all the boys were able to dress up the next day for David's Fall Festival work party.
The Adorable Chicken.
The Feisty Shark.
The Friendly Dragon.
The excited gang.
On Halloween the boys went trick-or-treating with their friend Tanner. He sure makes a cute monkey!
Waiting for the door to open.
Choosing their candy.
Luke, just enjoying the evening.
Caden practiced his shark bite the entire night. He even scared a few.
The tired chicken.
The boys also trick-or-treated with Liam...the studliest little basketball player.
The boys LOVED the trick-or-treating experience...their own as well as opening the door to all the others. This is the first "kid-friendly" neighborhood we have lived in, which was a lot of fun for the boys and us parents. Our neighborhood is small and not connected, by sidewalk, to other surrounding neighborhoods and so assumed we would have plenty of candy to hand out with a bunch to spare. Not so. We ran out! Sorry little trick-treaters...we'll be more prepared for the onslaught next year!!
