If you haven't bought stock in KinderBike yet, you should do so. Heather found this little training tool to make it easier for kids to learn to ride a bike. It's a balance bike, which means it has no pedals. It lets little ones learn to balance using their feet. Kids can then move directly to a regular bike, eliminating the need for training wheels. Below is a video of Luke on his KinderBike.
12 days after the KinderBike was purchased, Luke learned how to ride a bike. He just did it...by himself. We were dreading the weeks of holding onto the back of his bike, the falls, the tears, the refusing to try again...and on and on.
We are grateful to be able to say that there was none of that!!
The KinderBike can now be passed down to Caden...a little earlier than expected.
A few pics from his first day of riding his bike.
YEAH!!!!! That is so awesome! Good for Luke! I've heard those balance bikes are awesome! What a fun way to learn!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE balance bikes! It's because of our balance bike our little Caleb started riding a real two wheeler when he was 2 years old! We tell everyone about them! I found your blog off of Ashlee's blog. So good to see you and your cute family. 3 boys! What a blast!
