Swimming Lessons - Round 2

Another week of swimming lessons for Luke has come and gone.  He's come a long way from his first day, but still has a long way to go.

Here he is using the fins.

Blowing bubbles.

Using "the boat"...his favorite swimming activity when he gets to choose something fun to do.

Going under water.

Swimming, with help from Miss Jo.  I am amazed that as much as he fights against doing things in the water that cause fear, he still wants to go back each day.  Now if only he would just swim.  He can, he just freaks out (stops kicking, stops moving his arms, stops blowing bubbles, sputters, coughs, and cries out for help) whenever his teacher lets go of him.  He has so much fear that in that moment he forgets everything he has learned.
