We had some family in town this month...my parents and sister, Tiffany. We went to the Wild Wilderness Drive-Through Safari. It is a zoo, of sorts. There is a walk-through area where we were able to get close to the animals (goats, sheep, pigs, llamas, rabbits, monkeys, roosters, peacocks, kangaroos, gorillas, snakes, and on and on). The kids enjoyed feeding them. There is also a drive-through area where we stayed in our car and looked from afar...and sometimes right up close and personal.
I warn you in advance about the picture overload! :-)
Here's Caden feeding a goat. The poor goat sure had to reach far for his food. This was the first animal of the day that Caden fed and he wasn't sure he wanted to get too close.
Luke feeding the pigs.
Feeding the sheep...a little closer this time!
The llamas.
Luke, Tiff, and Porter heading to the next stop.
These boys sure love their "Tiffy".
These baby monkeys were adorable. The kids loved feeding them the most because they would take the food held out to them with their own hands...no slobber involved!
Watching the baby monkeys. Caden couldn't get enough of feeding them.
The Fam watching the kids feed the animals.
The turtles.
Luke, in the area with the reptiles.
David and Caden feeding the rabbits.
Inside the cage with the monkeys.
Checking out Caden.
Friendly little things.
Just chillin' on grandpa's shoulder.
My peeps.
Outside our window on the drive-through portion of the zoo.
I love how close some of the animals would come to the car.
Luke enjoyed the camels outside his window. He had a fun time identifying all the animals as we went.
Beep, beep.
Luke's favorite animal of the day.
Pacing tiger.
