Happy Birthday D!

David is a whopping thirty-four years old!

Doesn't he look it?  ha/ha

I asked David what kind of cake he wanted this year.

I was expecting to hear him say "lemon" (his favorite cake).

He chose pie.  Peach pie.

He loved it so much he wants to make it a tradition.

I liked it too because I went to a pie place instead of making it myself!

Our birthday festivities were very low-key this year.

Too low key...everyone in the household (excluding the birthday boy)

is sick with a cold/cough and miserable ear infections.

We'll make it up to you next year!
