Ward Campout

Here are some pictures of our Ward Campout this past
weekend. This was Luke's first time sleeping in a tent.
He and David spent the night while Caden and I slept in
the comfort of our own beds. The camp site was located
in the lowlands (marsh-like) and there were loads upon
loads of mosquitos! Yuck!!

This is a picture of our Bishop, our Home Teacher (and
baby), and David and Caden, of course.

Our Bishop and his wife were the only people who made
tin-foil dinners. The rest of us (the smart ones) brought
fast food. Amazingly enough, Luke (the paranoid one)
loved the campfire. He's back from the fire in this
picture, but he spent most of his time right up front.

Here Luke is weilding a S'more roasting stick.

Mom and the boys around the campfire.

All of us enjoying the campfire and mini-roadshow.

David and Luke in the morning. Luke, obviously, is still
sleeping. David looks like he could use a little more
sleep. He later asked me why it was that he was chosen
to stay the night and I got to go home. Hmmm...

The sleeping Luke, again.

Luke and Tanner checking out the empty fire pit. Luke
was wondering where the flames had gone.

Just a group of kids at the campout. Luke couldn't get
enough of the Tang, and as you can see, he couldn't
even put the cup down for a few pictures. It looks like
he is trying to get every last drop.

This is Luke after the campout, trying to wake up from a
very long and very needed nap.
